(Christian Carbonnel)
Chris Maurice (Christian Carbonnel) is a Spanish master perfumer specialized in niche, artistic and oriental perfumes and he is today a reference in this discipline. His grandfather was a French perfumer who moved to Spain to produce essential oils and established Carbonnel factory in 1925. Now the family company is located in Barcelona and the business is in its third generation and the fourth is coming. Growing up in the environment of niche fragrances, he had the opportunity to work on key projects for the leading brands in Europe and the Middle East, including Xerjoff, Sospiro, Casamoratti, Nishane, Fragrance Du Bois, Masque Milano, Zoologist, Santi Burgas, Jardins de France, Kemi. He has dedicated his career to treating refined and exceptional essences, which marry perfectly with his idea of High Perfumery, winning and being nominated to many prestigious awards: The Art and Olfactory Awards 2016, 2020, 2021…

Mark Buxton
Born in England, Mark studied in Hamburg before falling in love with Paris, where he has lived for more than 20 years. He is the author of fragrances for major luxury brands such as Givenchy, Versace, Van Cleef & Arpels, Paco Rabanne, Burberry, Cartier, Chopard, Ferré. The audacity of his olfactory creativity was fully expressed with the first Comme des Garçons perfume. Mark Buxton creations propose a refined world with an astonishing modernity. His style, rich and contrasting, fuses a traditional British touch, a hint of contemporary dandy, a rock and offbeat energy that casts off luxury codes with impertinence and daring. His search for absolute simplicity is translated into a seamless rigor and short olfactory formulas.

Miguel Matos
Miguel Matos is a self taught perfumer working in collaboration with C de la Niche, with which he has created over 75 fragrances for international niche brands. He has been a finalist of the Art and Olfaction Awards three times, having won the award in 2020 for best fragrance in the Independent category with Young Hearts, created for the Italian brand Acampora Profumi. Miguel is a writer and editor of Fragrantica.com and he published a book on perfumes and the zodiac in Portugal. As a writer, his work has been recognized by the Fragrance Foundation and the Perfumed Plume Awards several times. He has a list of olfactory art exhibitions, including Making the Body Think, in Los Angeles, at the Institute for Art and Olfaction. He currently lives and works in Lisbon, Portugal. He loves cats, techno music and Italian food.
